MANADOPOST.ID- PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) introduced improvements of Kijang Innova Zenix Gasoline and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). Since its launch three years ago as a family MPV that combines comfort and modern technology, New Kijang Innova Zenix now comes with several more advanced features and technologies in line with current customer trends, needs, and lifestyles. This medium MPV continues to offer a combination of comfort, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable eco-efficiency.

Toyota has retained Kijang Innova Zenix’s exterior design, which remains popular with customers, featuring a tough crossover front look, a solid grille, and LED headlamps. Its premium SUV styling is accentuated by 18-inch alloy wheels, a more upright A-pillar, and a sleeker D-pillar. The dynamic and emotional impression continues at the rear. In line with global updates, the Hybrid emblem has been updated to HEV, further highlighting its advanced electrification.

Updates are also visible inside the cabin. All grades now receive a Head Unit size upgrade. The G and G HEV grades now feature a 10-inch Head Unit with Smartphone Connectivity. Meanwhile, the V, V HEV, and Q HEV grades are upgraded to a 12.3-inch Head Unit with integrated Air Purifier controls for added comfort and convenience. A pair of Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) units in the V, V HEV, and Q HEV grades now feature Wi-Fi hotspot functionality via the T Intouch system.
For convenience and safety, the Q HEV grade now comes with a Power Back Door with Kick Sensor. The Panoramic View Monitor has been upgraded to HD resolution for clearer and more detailed visuals of the road and surrounding area. On the G, V, G HEV, and V HEV grades, the Back Camera has also been upgraded to HD resolution. Safety feature improvements include the addition of a Tire Inflator to all grades for easy tire pressure checks.
T Intouch device in the V, V HEV, and Q HEV grades now includes an In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot function for broader internet access. This feature can be controlled via mToyota app, enabling customers to access various in-car internet-based services through the Connected Head Unit and Connected Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE), allowing both driver and passengers to enjoy more features.
This feature is further enhanced through collaboration with Telkomsel as the provider of the In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot and IoT Connected Car services. Customers can leverage this advanced telematics technology in two categories: Out-of-Car Connectivity via the T Intouch menu in the mToyota app, and In-Car Connectivity through the Connected Head Unit and Connected RSE.
1. Out-of-Car Connectivity
The V, V HEV, and Q HEV grades are equipped with an In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot and Remote Immobilizer. Both features can be accessed via latest version of the mTOYOTA app, offering a more intuitive and seamless digital experience.
2. In-Car Connectivity
In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot, connected to the Head Unit and Rear Seat Entertainment, expands access to various entertainment features. T Intouch device acts as an internet host, enabling customers to easily enjoy multimedia streaming services such as RCTI+ and Noice.

Additional convenience services include Travoy for traffic monitoring, e-money checking and top-up, Voice Command, and Concierge Service that connects customers to a 24/7 live agent ready to assist, from breakdowns to accident handling.
Specifically for the V, V HEV, and Q HEV grades, the In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot is also connected to the RSE for rear passengers, enabling access to infotainment services such as Kompas and Smule, as well as popular multimedia streaming platforms like Spotify, Disney+, and YouTube.
All these features not only provide entertainment but also offer benefits that support productivity. With a stable internet connection from the In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot, customers can stay connected, work, and even conduct video conferences via personal devices, making every journey more efficient and valuable.
